Terms of use

• You need to be at least 13, or the minimum age to use online services where you live.
• Keep your account details accurate and your password to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• If you think someone else has access, change your password and use “Sign out everywhere” in Settings, then tell us.

Everything you put into po6tive belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only so we can run the app for you. We don’t claim ownership of it and we don’t sell it. See the privacy policy for the details.

• If you add staff, you decide who gets access and which PINs they use, and you’re responsible for having the right to store their information.
• Your clients’ details are yours. If you use Check-in, the names, phone numbers, birthdays, consent answers and signatures collected at your front desk belong to your business — po6tive stores them for you. You are responsible for having the right to collect and keep them, for getting consent before you message anyone, and for answering a client who asks to see, correct or delete what you hold. You can delete any client, or your whole account, at any time, and their records go with it.
• Messages you send through po6tive are yours, not ours. You choose the wording, the audience and the moment. You are responsible for following the marketing rules that apply where you operate.
• Paystub, payroll and money figures are records you enter. po6tive helps you keep track, but it isn’t accounting, tax, payroll or legal advice. Double-check anything important.

Money features are for your own tracking. po6tive never moves money and doesn’t give financial advice. Alarms and reminders depend on your device and browser, so don’t rely on po6tive as your only alarm for anything critical.

Please don’t misuse po6tive. That means no:

• breaking the law or helping someone else do it;
• trying to get into other people’s accounts or data;
• probing, overloading, scraping or reverse-engineering our systems;
• storing things you don’t have the right to, like someone else’s card numbers or passwords.

We may pause accounts that put other people or the service at risk.

We work hard to keep po6tive running and your data safe, but the app is provided “as is” and may sometimes be unavailable. Features will evolve over time. When something important changes, we’ll let you know ahead of time whenever we reasonably can.

You can stop using po6tive and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and where it’s appropriate we’ll tell you why.

To the extent the law allows, po6tive isn’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses that come from information you enter, missed reminders, or decisions based on figures in the app. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be limited.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll tell you in the app. Continuing to use po6tive after a change means you accept the updated terms.
